Fortec Motorsports is delighted to announce that Ary Bansal will join the team in the Wera Tools F4 British Championship, certified by FIA, taking part in the newly introduced Challenge Cup.

The 15-year-old from Bangalore, India, is already a race winner this season, having claimed victory on his debut in the GB4 Championship. He was also named Fastest Driver of the Weekend at Donington Park, setting the fastest lap in two of the three races. He continued his strong form at Silverstone with two further podium finishes.

Ary began his karting career in India in 2021, before competing in selected British Karting Championship events throughout 2023 and 2024. He made his single-seater debut in the Spanish F4 Championship towards the end of last year.

He will make his Wera Tools British F4 debut in June at Thruxton – the fastest circuit in the UK – and will return to the grid later in the month for the Oulton Park round in Cheshire, with additional outings planned for the remainder of the season.

Ary will team up with fellow Fortec driver Henry Joslyn, as the team looks to build on a promising start to the campaign, including a double pole position in the season opener and a trio of top nine finishes in the most recent rounds.

The Thruxton race weekend begins with two free practice sessions on Friday, 6 June. Qualifying and the first two races will take place on Saturday, followed by the final 20-minute contest on Sunday, 8 June at 13:40 BST – broadcast live on ITV4 in the UK and streamed globally via YouTube.
