Fortec Motorsports is happy to announce that Tom Ingram Hill will compete in selected rounds of the Wera Tools F4 British Championship, certified by FIA, starting at Thruxton.
The teenager is currently competing in the GB4 Championship with the team – only his second full year of car racing and his maiden venture into single-seaters – and will now add British F4 to his burgeoning motorsport résumé.
To date, Tom has secured five point-scoring finishes in the opening nine GB4 races and is eager to challenge himself in a new category. Having previously excelled in karting and the Ginetta Junior Championship he brings a versatile skill set to British F4.
His series debut will take place this coming weekend at Thruxton, the UK’s fastest circuit and his home track in Hampshire. He will then compete at the British Grand Prix support round at Silverstone, before returning to Donington Park, Zandvoort, and the Silverstone National layout.
Tom joins Henry Joslyn in Fortec’s British F4 line-up, where the team has already claimed two podium finishes and two pole positions in the 2025 campaign.
Thomas Ingram Hill
“I can’t wait to get started. It’s always great to be in the car more, and tackling both GB4 and British F4 on some of the same circuits will really accelerate my learning. As a Thruxton local, I’m familiar with the track from testing, so I’m ready to attack it. Everyone in the field has experience, so I know I’ll learn a lot and we’ll do everything we can to make progress each weekend.”
Oliver Dutton, Team Principal
“Tom has demonstrated fantastic growth in his transition from karting to single seater racing. His performances and composure under pressure have impressed everyone here, and we’re thrilled to support his development across two championships. We look forward to building on this momentum together and helping him realise his full potential.”
