Fortec Motorsports enjoyed a standout weekend in the GB4 Championship at Silverstone (1/2 August), where Thomas Ingram Hill claimed his maiden victory and added a podium to cap an excellent two days of running.

Thomas, Franciszek Cegielski and Jordyn Martin showed strong pace throughout Thursday and Friday’s test sessions, and Thomas converted that speed into a superb qualifying performance — securing his first series pole position by an impressive 0.379s. Franciszek also delivered well with sixth, while Jordyn took 16th.

Race One

Starting from pole for Saturday’s opener, Thomas held the lead into Abbey but contact from behind caused a puncture and sent him off track. He returned to the pits for repairs but could only recover to 27th.

Further back, Franciszek was firmly in the mix, part of a six‑car battle for second, while Jordyn climbed steadily through the order. She moved into 12th just before mid‑distance and held the position to the flag. Franciszek finished seventh and secured another Rookie victory.

Race Two

On Sunday morning Thomas made full use of his front‑row position. After an initial delay to the race start, he escaped any early pressure and immediately pulled clear, controlling the race superbly to take a dominant maiden GB4 win by almost three seconds.

Franciszek produced one of the standout overtakes of the weekend with a bold move around the outside at Stowe, fighting hard throughout to finish seventh and top Rookie once again. Jordyn was involved in close battles of her own, taking 14th and second Rookie.

Race Three

The final contest featured a partially reversed grid for the top‑12 qualifiers. Thomas launched brilliantly, gaining four places on the opening lap to slot into eighth, just ahead of Franciszek, while Jordyn also made early progress.

Thomas continued his charge, moving into sixth before a Safety Car interruption. With just over five minutes remaining, racing resumed and he immediately took fifth. Moments later, two cars came together ahead, allowing him to seize third and secure a well‑earned podium. Franciszek finished 11th and Jordyn 13th, the pair taking second and third in the Rookie classification.

The GB4 Championship returns in two weeks’ time as Fortec Motorsports heads to Snetterton for rounds 13, 14 and 15 of the 2026 season (15/16 August).
