Fortec Motorsports worked hard throughout a challenging weekend at Croft in the Wera Tools F4 British Championship, certified by FIA, and was rewarded with a top‑ten finish in race three courtesy of Cash Felber (5–6 September).
Ethan Carney, Roman Felber and Cash completed two productive practice sessions on Friday before heading into Saturday qualifying, where Cash led the trio in 13th, followed by Ethan in 17th and Roman in 22nd.
Race one
Saturday afternoon’s opener proved difficult from the outset as Ethan ran wide at Turn One and then made contact with another car, ending his race immediately. Cash made early progress with three positions gained, while Roman climbed two places. However, with overtaking limited across the field, both held station to finish 16th and 21st respectively.
Race two
Rain throughout Sunday morning created tricky conditions for race two. Roman moved forward early, while Cash spun after his car swapped ends, dropping him to 23rd. At half‑distance, Ethan ran 16th with Roman just behind in 17th, both gaining a further place when a rival lost time. Cash recovered well to reach 21st and took one more position on the final lap.
Race three
The track had dried for the final 25‑minute contest, and all three drivers made strong early gains: Cash into 12th, Ethan to 15th and Roman up five places to 17th. By mid‑distance, Cash had climbed into the top ten, and in the closing laps both he and Ethan set some of their quickest times of the race. Ethan capitalised to gain two further positions, while Roman moved into 16th as the trio finished in those spots.
Fortec Motorsports returns to Wera Tools British F4 Championship action in three weeks’ time, as the penultimate meeting of the 2026 season takes place at Silverstone (26–27 September).
