Fortec Motorsports can confirm that Kit Belofsky will take a temporary pause from his racing activities in the Wera Tools F4 British Championship, certified by FIA, as he recovers from a concussion sustained during last weekend’s event at Thruxton (25/26 July).

During the third and final race, Kit was struck from behind at Cobb corner, sending his car into a spin. As the pack swept through the complex, another driver — unsighted while taking avoiding action — made contact with the side of Kit’s vehicle. Although he was able to drive away from the scene before pulling off with damage, subsequent medical checks confirmed he had suffered a concussion.

Everyone at Fortec Motorsports fully supports the decision made by Kit and his family to step back from on‑track competition and allow the necessary time for recovery. After watching him perform so strongly this season — including a memorable podium at Brands Hatch — the entire team wishes him a full and speedy return to health.
