Fortec Motorsports battled through a challenging weekend in the Wera Tools F4 British Championship, certified by FIA, and was rewarded with a top‑10 finish as Roman Felber secured eighth place in the final contest on the Donington Park Grand Prix circuit (22–23 August).

The team showed encouraging pace in testing at the Leicestershire venue, and Roman led the Fortec trio in qualifying with eighth, followed closely by Ethan Carney in 14th and Cash Felber in 15th — all within a tight spread of lap times.

Race one

Saturday afternoon’s opener began positively for Roman, though he was edged back to tenth off the line before a spin at the chicane dropped him down the order. Cash and Ethan were forced to take avoiding action, settling into 14th and 17th respectively and the running remained largely static until the final lap, when Ethan lost time and finished 19th behind Cash, while Roman recovered to 24th.

Race two

Roman immediately joined the midfield battle on Sunday morning, climbing to sixth and holding position as the race settled. Behind him, Ethan moved into 14th and Cash into 16th, both gaining another place when a car ahead spun — an incident that brought out the Safety Car.

With seven minutes remaining, racing resumed. In the closing laps, Roman was handed a time penalty for exceeding track limits, dropping him to 15th, Cash followed him home in 16th, while Ethan delivered a strong finish, climbing to 12th.

Race three

The final 25‑minute contest featured early action as Cash and Ethan swapped positions on the opening lap, with Cash moving into 14th. A Safety Car on lap two coincided with Roman slipping to 11th, and when racing briefly resumed another incident brought the Safety Car back almost immediately.

Racing resumed with five minutes remaining, but the contest was red flagged shortly afterwards as several cars required recovery — Ethan among them. With the results rolled back to the last fully completed lap, Roman secured a well‑earned top‑10 finish, Cash was classified 11th, and Ethan was not classified.

Fortec Motorsports returns to Wera Tools British F4 at Croft on 5–6 September, while the GB3 and GB4 Championships also compete that same weekend, heading back to Donington Park.
